Mission

The Community Fitness and Wellness (CFW) Center’s mission is to deliver to individuals with paralysis a continuum of care and cure. We seek to provide accessibility for activity-based interventions and exercise to improve the health and quality of life for those with paralysis.

Vision

To maintain function and improve health and quality of life for people living with paralysis through comprehensive activity-based interventions. CFW staff will identify appropriate activity-based interventions for potential enrollment based on the client’s lifestyle and resources.

Description

Our CFW team provides an overall plan for longitudinal health maintenance. Activity-based interventions that may help participants maintain or improve their health are identified, and participant-specific recommendations are offered. Scholarships and discounted packages may also be available. The CFW is a facility of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation’s NeuroRecovery Network.
